People & Culture Manager

Full-Time, Munich

TYTAN is a young deep-tech defense startup that develops a cost-effective counter-drone solution to protect people and critical infrastructure. We are an international team of ambitious engineers who combine expertise in autonomous systems and UAV design.

 

We are looking for a new team member who is eager to make a real difference! As a People & Culture Manager, you will lead our people and organizational development, ensuring that TYTAN attracts, develops, and retains top talents while fostering a strong and dynamic company culture.

Your roadmap to make an impact:

  • Lead the strategy and development of the People & Culture function, ensuring alignment with TYTAN’s mission and growth objectives.

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, ensuring smooth and engaging onboarding experiences for new team members.

  • Build and scale an agile, high-performance team and a dynamic workplace that attracts and retains top talent.

  • Ensure adherence to German labor laws and implement industry-leading HR best practices.

  • Manage employee relations and address HR-related queries, policies, and employment matters.

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and create an office environment that supports team productivity and well-being.

Who you are:

  • Background in HR, Organizational Development, or Business, ideally with experience in a high-growth startup environment.

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and talent development.

  • Strong expertise in building a high-performance team and fostering an innovative company culture.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and collaboration across teams.

  • Adaptive and detail-oriented, with a proactive, structured work approach and a willingness to learn, teach, lead, and follow.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong knowledge in German labor laws, HR administration, and payroll processes.

  • Fluent in both German and English.

  • Experience with HR-Management software and digital tools like Personio.
